Hey Folks....
Long time after the semesters I got a scope of writing the blog which I had cherishedly started since long. The semesters have ended and I have come home and suddenly I find and irresistible urge to blog. As I don’t have internet connection at home I write them in WordPad and then proceed off in copying them my blog page....
Well for the record that I have started taking up computers as to remain a bit indulged in the holidays as well as taken up programming in the time being. The language is C. I found C available here for two reasons.
I) I got hold of the C-Free IDE (Standard Edition) which supports both C/C++ though I have taken up the C section I am also trying to take up the C++ portion as it has a little bit difference in syntax. (as told by my friends)
II) Secondly as a reference I got hold of the Let Us C book by Yashavant Kanetkar by BPB Publication 6th edition. This book though belonged to my elder brother when he had just joined his B.E course in Electronics.
I had previously covered upto Loops.. Finding Patterns very tedious and difficult but all the same interesting.
Proceeded upto Functions in C. Now I can atleast write multiple functions in C and hence find it to be a bit easy to see that it converts difficult problems into simpler ones by giving it a modular approach.
Hence now finding the sum of prime numbers between 1 and 10000 is easier as I can break it into two functions. Also I am proceeding to RECURSIVE FUNCTIONS. Now that is some interesting thing where loops are replaced by functions which call themselves hence do similar jobs as loops. But it has a bit difficult approach as it can have devastating results when programmed a bit stupidly. I have also done some coding in Arrays. Also the Character Array stuff too....
As I flip through the pages I find topics such as "I/O File" , "Pointers","Data Structures".... etc which I have to learn as I may have them in my course....
Another interesting topic I found is that as I was coding a program to find the sum of prime numbers between 1 to 1 million.. I found that they did not return me any output. Funny they returned me outputs at 10 thousand but they did not return me anything at 1 million. I had put long datatypes everywhere and also it was between the range but there was no output. I guess the logic was too tedious and time-exhausting as well that a better code needs to be devised so that the answer is prompt and fast.. Got to work upon it.....

PS: Recently got myself an account in SPOJ (SPhere Online Judge). Solved one problem out there the first one titled THE LIFE THE UNIVERSE EVERYTHING.. Next target is the SMALL FACTORIAL one. It has a challenge of running 10 test cases and finding out upto max 100!. Interestingly that is what I am working upon right now as 100! has 200 digits and no data type supports 200 digit long number. Figure out a system by myself. Probably arrays will suffice it.

Semester Kick Off 3
Folks... Semesters are just 5 days ahead and i can tell you all that I am blissfully unaware of what is going on with me and the syllabus... Here I am about to visit a dear friend of mine and about to ask him what suggesstions does he have for the Sem exams.... lets see how much knowledge I can get from him.................

Here I have got the semester suggestions but I feel that I am completely out of track of what is going on here...
I have no idea of what to do and today the date is 4th of December here and I have no idea what to do??
Lets not talk of mundane things and proceed with the bigger things in life here....
I have been following a blog by one of our seniors Amit Saha in Wordpress and I also knew that he had a different blog at Blogger which he stopped using.. Today as I was scrolling through his posts I found that it is still a treasure trove of information and still it is functioning.. The amount of information he has put up in One Place is just amazing.. It really interested me a lot... If you would just look up at the link : amitksaha.blogspot.com
It is not under use but still is very useful.. Presently as far as I know that he is pursuing his PhD in Australia in genetic or Evolutionary Computing which though goes above my skull, sounds very cool..........
I wish him LUCK for what ever aspirations he has in life... Though he doesn't know me.. we are linked by a common link of the one and only famous Devashis Chakravarthy....
He is a teacher or rather I want to say an inspirer (if that word exists)... he is one man who influenced me to computers.. well I know practically nothing about this field and the very little of programming which I learnt from various sources and him is useless.. But still when he persuaded me to go for this field I found out that it is really interesting.... May he live for 1000 years and keep on spreading knowledge so that we all can gain something from him............
Oh my god..... I have the bloody semesters ahead of me and I am sitting and tapping the keys...
Well Goodbye friends.. We'll meet after the semesters are over... Happy Blogging

WHATS GOT INTO HER!!!
Today even though I had another tormenting Viva-Voce but i wont be telling you any of that as you all can guess how grueling it was... Today i would like to talk about a so called friend of mine at Facebook.... i wont name her as i would like to preserve her identity as a secret biut since this is my space I would rant as much as I can out here given to the fact that I can rant about her out there too....
See it all started when she wrote some obnoxious piece of poetry and asked me to rate it which I dutifully ranked it at the hate list... She couldn't accept it and rather told that her Media friends had appraised her for that cheap sort of creation... Frankly my dear.. I thought that Media people were a bunch of creative guys though most of them show their credibility in making Saas-Bahu Soaps and other reality serials like Rakhi Ka Swayamvar and Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayega as well as also shit sort of shows like BIG BOSS and stuff.....
See the poetry was obnoxious and in her stupid crooked sense told her that I was no connoisseur of comedy. Therefore she started a fight which went upto Engineers (They are the bunch of guys whom I respect the most) and she was comparing the usefulness of Media People with Engineers who build the nation. Now i had crossed her in every point she gave and she finally messages me in Facebook telling me I should learn how to respect girls (she had the nerve to tell that) as well as that . See the poetry was a crap and she should have the little self-respect to accept the fact...... But she doesnt... and rather she fights... Well I have better things to write in my blog other than silly trysts with her.. So Adieu

SEMESTER KICK OFF 2
Dear Folks
Our engineering practicals have started and here today I had to face with the Electrical and Electronics Laboratory Practicals.... Luckily for me The first exam was THE ELECTRICAL LAB... One of my friend had taken my electrical laboratory notebook and finally when we were all entering the lab.. he was still not present.. But finally to my relief he entered and Today I set on with the experiment which had been given... NORTON'S THEOREM.... Well that was a breeze with one of my good friend Nilanjan... We did it quite nicely..... The written portion went coolly and then came the VIVA.... This is one thing which I dread the most... Vivas...
Mannnnnnnn They bring out the gas out of me..... Questions and stuff... Difficult and more difficult finally until u stop breathing and break down completely.. Then it stops.
The they give you the Nirvana to go back as the GODS busily scribble marks down the mark-sheet.......... Then you surrender your Answer Paper and head back to the CATHEDRAL (hostel) for redemption........
The we had the obnoxious ELECTRONIC LAB..... Here I was awarded or rather punished with the Center Tapped Rectifier... Man it ripped me off my noodle for all that time but still. I survived the nuke attack and finally made it so I can write up to this day ......
Finally as I write I have a trauma that the semester exams are at the corner... Lets see how much can I keep myself posted..

Semester Kick-Off
Today was the D Day and it was today that I started off with the semester exams of the First Semester exams.....
The first college exam of my life and that went ummm lets say not horrific but not to be remembered at all...
It all started with the Mechanical Workshop where i was alloted to work on a Lathe. Now a Lathe happens to be a composite machine where various jobs can be performed and as well as it happens to be the nightmare for all engineering students ( Maybe just ME) .. So we had a tough time performing taper turning the given sample of MILD STEEL bar. Also we came to know that all of a sudden we had miscalculated the angle of taper turning. And finally we ended with a sample with less that adequate Facing operation done on it.
PHYSICS PRACTICAL.... Well that made up and balanced with the disasters of the rest of the day. I wanted to do the Modulus of Rigidity by Dynamic Method and got it at once as well as the readings were perfect... (had it cross checked with the lab manual readings ;) ) as well and the VIVA was a breeze (considering the teacher was more interested in answering his own questions rather than listening our answers... :) ) Also he gave us an "assignment" to find out how the fan out here in our home works.. i.e. To find the working principle behind the Working of a FAN . Presently I am searching the same on the Net..... As well I am getting more interested in various video tutorials and stuff regarding computers ..
As soon as the semester ends I am planning to do some research work on all the things which I have in mind......

Awful Times
Dear Folks.....
Recently a for a few days i have been noticing that trouble doesnt seem to leave my back... WTF!!!! Whats going on....
It all started with the assignments and the internal exams all incoming missiles searing towards me with incomprehensible speed.....
Man.. Life isnt that cool at the engineering colleges.... when technically exams are after you...
Here Today i had the mechanics exams and it went out devastatingly..... i had to use all possible unfair attempts and also try to rope in the teacher to get some help... Unfortunately the teacher could not be managed and I nearly fell into trouble from it..
I just dont know whats going to happen to me out of it... i probably will get the results two days from now... and Before even i can recover from this .....
DOWN COMES THE SEMESTER EXAMS.................
With practically less than a month to prepare... we will face an assault of Physics Mathematics Applied Mechanics, Electrical sciences and Humanities........
Worst case is gonna be the HUMANITIES............ i literally dont know what is going to come in it and also dont know how will I pass out of it.... This really is an AWFUL TIME.......... for more news of this catastrophe.... keeping Reading Folks!!!................. ;)

Time and scope
This blog of mine was created a long long time back but unfortunately that it is now that I get a scope to write in it......
I always wanted to be in a position to use this blog in constructive way but now have found that I can write in any piece of crap I want to..........
I suppose i find this to be so grossly interesting...... lets get to the point....
last day i watched the social network. interesting film................
Watch that.. see how Mark Zuckerberg rose to be the worlds youngest billionaire from a 'simple' student majoring in computer science................
Watch it.. its worth it.. along with the tag line : You dont get to make 500 million friends without making afew enemies. it really is a must watch.......
